Executive Board Meeting
October 20, 2008

The Board meeting was called to order at 6:10 PM. Roll call of officers and directors found 8 present, 5
absent. Regional Director Bruce Kamperschroer was excused absent. The secretary’s report was read
and accepted. The treasurer’s report reflected $5,000.89 in checking and $16,297.61 in cash.

Committee Reports:
• Educational Committee Chairman Jerry Meyer reported he has Chemtex Boiler Water Treatment
scheduled for the November meeting and Trane Centrifugal Chillers scheduled for the January
meeting.

General Membership Meeting
October 20, 2008

The meeting was called to order by President Doug Dill at 7:09 PM. The secretary’s report was read
and accepted. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted.
Old Business: None
New Business:
• Chapter Delegate to the annual RSES Conference, Doug Dill gave his report on the happenings
at the conference. President Dill also discussed RSES’s new “e learning” program.
• Harland Hayward informed the members that Jack Franklin, long time Alco Field representative
and chapter member, had died on October 1st.
• Kevin Johnson presented Doug Dill with his official plaque as Chapter 2008 “Member of the
Year.”
Meeting adjourned at 7:20 PM.

The educational portion of the meeting was conducted by Tim Bro of Johnstone Supply. Mr. Bro
explained heat pump operation and service.
